ABOUT ME

I’m a science based coach in Boston who believes fitness has to fit into your real life. I approach every client’s journey with empathy, realistic expectations, and common sense.

I’ve been a lifelong fitness enthusiast, but my path into coaching didn’t start in a gym — it started in hospitality.

I spent most of my adult life working as a high-end bartender, where the job was really about taking care of people. Reading the room, making people feel welcome, and creating experiences my guests wanted to return to. That environment honed my empathy, attention to detail, and showed me how powerful it is to feel genuinely supported. About a decade ago, I decided to bring those same skills to the fitness space.

I’m also a dad to the two most incredible girls in the world and a very spoiled dog (the fittest member of the family). Taking care of my health isn’t about aesthetics or chasing extremes — it’s about being strong, present, and capable for the people who depend on me. That perspective shapes how I coach. Fitness should add to your life, not compete with it.

My background includes kettlebells, functional movement, martial arts, and strength training, but the method always comes second to the person. I focus on helping real people build strength they can use, confidence they can feel, and habits they can sustain. No intimidation, no ego — just smart training in an environment where you’re taken care of.

I love working with people of all fitness backgrounds, but I work especially well with those who are new to strength training or have taken a long time away and don’t know where to begin. I believe the gym should be a welcoming space, not a source of intimidation.

My goal is simple: help you enjoy the process of getting stronger and build something that lasts.

I’d love to help you find your new path. Let’s evolve you into your strongest form together.

MY COACHING METHOD

  • Ability

Starting with basics, you’ll learn to move with strength, stability, and confidence in all the fundamental movement patterns

  • Athleticism

The next step is to add speed and control at higher levels of exertion, building end range strength and power to carry over to all types of physical activity

  • Adaptibility

The most advanced phase is to take what your body can do and build readiness and confidence in unexpected situations and uncontrolled environments

Testimonials

“Vikram’s kettlebell class is the perfect mix of cardio (get ready to burn calories) and strength. Kettlebell workouts are tough, and Vikram’s coaching and attention to form make a huge difference; he makes sure you are doing every move the right. I always leave sweaty and feeling stronger.

As a former powerlifter and now wife/mom/executive with limited time and energy, I knew I had to get my physical self back to feeling strong but didn’t have the time to tinker with self-programming.

Vik took all the guesswork out of programming and coached me with the perfect balance of compassion, toughness, and confidence in me. He knew when to push me, when to pivot, and how to program around an already-exhausted CNS.

In just a few short months, I pulled a 225 deadlift—something I hadn’t done since before I was married and was earnestly powerlifting. What I valued even more was what I learned about my own body through Vik’s coaching: weak points, movement patterns, natural strengths, and practical areas to train that enhanced my day-to-day life.

If you are serious about getting your body strong for living life well, Vik is your coach.

Working with Vikram to fix my running form carried over into being able to make my way in the world without knee pain. I was doing heavy squats and deadlifts, which i never thought i would be able to do. I even learned how to skip rope and have been able to string 100+ reps together with ease!

Vik got me in the best shape of my life, and I only swore at him a couple of times.

Prior to meeting Vik, I never successfully or consistently worked out in my life. Working with Vik greatly improved my physical and mental health. His training style is supportive rather than shame-based. He pushes but does not force, and motivates with positive energy and constructive feedback. He changes up workouts so they are never boring.

I never missed a session in 2 years. In fact, I added extra sessions when I could. Vik kept me disciplined and honest, and my whole body benefited inside and out. His persistence, dedication, and great attitude are admirable.

I look forward to continuing workouts with him. Warning, he’s a great person to talk to, so you may get accused of talking to avoid working out from time to time.

I can’t thank him enough for how much he helped when I needed it most.
